Our Work

Working for better lives, not just better systems.

The challenges faced by older people are connected.

Health affects independence.
Financial insecurity can affect dignity.
Loneliness can affect well-being.
Lack of information can make it harder to access services.

Our work therefore looks at the whole person and the environment around them.

Our Areas of Action

Six ways we make a difference

Older People’s Well-being

Ageing should come with dignity, connection and the opportunity to enjoy life. We support efforts that promote overall well-being while creating spaces where older people can connect, participate and feel valued.

Health & Well-being

Good health is an important part of living independently. We work to raise awareness, strengthen connections with relevant services and encourage greater attention to the health needs of older people.

Social Protection

No one should have to choose between food, healthcare and basic needs simply because they are older. We work with partners to promote awareness and access to social protection and financial security.

Intergenerational Connections

Age should not separate us. We encourage opportunities for older people and younger generations to meet, listen, and share knowledge and skills — because communities are stronger when generations understand each other.

Skills & Empowerment

Older people have knowledge, experience and skills that continue to matter. We support opportunities that encourage participation and independence, recognizing older people as active members of society.

Advocacy & Rights

Older people’s voices need to be part of decisions that affect their lives. We engage with institutions and partners to advocate for policies and practices that promote dignity, inclusion and rights.

What We Do

We listen. We connect.
We advocate. We act.

Our areas of action come together in three main pillars, each built around the real needs of older people.

Financial empowerment of older people Support

01

Financial Empowerment

No one should have to choose between food, healthcare and basic needs simply because they are older.

  • Social Protection: we work with partners and communities to promote awareness, access and conversations around social protection and financial security for older people.
  • Skills & Empowerment: supporting opportunities that encourage participation, independence and skill sharing, recognizing older people as active members of society — not simply recipients of support.

Social Inclusion

Age should not separate us. Communities are stronger when generations understand each other and older people’s voices are heard.

  • Intergenerational Connections: encouraging opportunities for older people and younger generations to meet, listen to one another and share knowledge, stories, skills and experiences.
  • Advocacy & Rights: engaging with communities, institutions and partners to raise awareness, encourage dialogue and advocate for policies that promote dignity, inclusion and rights.
